Paseo Del Prado, Paseo De Los Museums


The Paseo del Prado is one of the most important boulevards of Madrid. Follow the vertical north-south from the Plaza de Cibeles to Plaza del Emperador Carlos V, popularly known as Glorieta de Atocha. The Paseo del Prado, Paseo de Recoletos and the Paseo de la Castellana form a major axis that crosses Madrid from north to south, from the train station Chamartín to Atocha station.

The Paseo del Prado is at the heart of Madrid, in this area are the Cortes, the Bank of Spain and the Teatro de la Zarzuela, among others. The Museum of Contemporary Art Reina Sofía, as its name indicates, is devoted to modern and contemporary art.
