How do you know you're an entrepreneur? What separates the average person to be an entrepreneur
Do not wake up one morning and become an entrepreneur and or are born with it? This is a question that many have thought that working a job knowing that it was for something else.
I pondered this question many times in my life. People ask me what it takes or how we can create the spirit of an entrepreneur that all successful entrepreneurs have. There are a couple of things I've seen that are common to all entrepreneurs, I've seen in my life and the lives of those around me
I think everyone is born with the desire to fend for themselves. We all have dreams and aspirations to create success in our lives. So why is that so few of us end up starting our businesses? Many people believe that every person who has the desire to start their own business and be their leader is an entrepreneur. This is far from the truth. If you went around and asked a group of people if they would like to be their own boss and have there own company, the majority would say yes. So why do not more people go into business for themselves? What is the difference between a true entrepreneur and the average person's normal day?
Personally I think there are a number of reasons and differences. In the first place, is that most of the people determined. Instead of working hard and go after their dreams settle for something that is easier and more convenient. Secondly, people are afraid to take chances and just prefers to play it safe. Starting a business is a huge risk, there are no guarantees. When you start your own business you can do a lot of money or you can fail miserably, the fear of failure is what keeps so many people going after their dreams. Thirdly, we allow ourselves and others to adjust ourselves down. A lot of people do not have confidence to go out and do something as big as their own business.
As I said before I think we are all entrepreneurs. The only difference between a successful entrepreneur and a normal day the average person is that the employer does not let things like fear, risk, and laziness to stand in their way. Someone once told me that "Big Shots" are all just small shots that kept shooting.
You should not let anything get in the way of your goals and dreams. Stop listening to the voice of those around you and start listening to the voice inside of you. It's never too late to become the entrepreneur you've always dreamed of being .......
