So You Want to write a Blog Sports, right?

Unless you live under the proverbial rock as you are well aware of the power of the Internet and its content. Not only is the Internet continues to expand and grow rapidly in popularity and the use daily, but the demand for Internet content is booming. You can get into the action.

Yes, I'm just some poor schlep, regular Joe, a mutual friend, or whatever moniker that cliché about. But I'm also a Phillies fan who has a knowledge of baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies. "And then?" you say.

I think I deserve a "so what?" At this point, but let continue. After years of talking the ears off of family, friends, associates, complete strangers, strange people, everyday people, people who are hungry, boring people, vitamin C deficiency less than coal, and people were screaming as for me to do a blog.

Usually I ignore people and their screaming but as I became acquainted with this thing on the World Wide Web, are on board. I'm loving it too! I would marry him if I could. And something tells me there's probably someone who has tried to do it. Anyway I digress.

Frankly, the Internet is saturated with sports blogs. So what made me think I could add something new? The fact is that is lesson number 1. Do not worry about the number of blogs there are. The fact is that you turn every human being on line.

To begin with, the sport, as most of the blog is part of what is called a niche. So right off the bat you know who you are targeting. It can be even more specific topic. You have sports, but then you have baseball, football, basketball, and so on.

For example, my blog is about baseball and more specifically on the Philadelphia Phillies. Of course my target is clearly outlined as a result. So then how do you make your blog stand out in your niche?

You try and find a different angle of focus compared to existing blogs, if it is a common niche. For example, my blog is not just a blog Phillies Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, Jimmie Rollins, Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels and the Phillies host of other wonderful players. It is not just about games, wins and losses, moves, and vocals. My blog is intended to include all the things that go into running a MLB franchise. It will also deepen the business around an MLB franchise.

As the blog grows and matures, I will be sharing discussions and interviews on marketing, ballpark operations, sales, sponsorships, advertising, mobility problems, programming, promotions, fandom, media, merchandising, etc. . We will examine these aspects from the point of view fans as well as the point of view of each arena under discussion.

This is just my vision. In writing your blog sport, you can take a different direction. Maybe you want to write a blog Tennis. You can focus on the global tennis or tennis in your country, region or local community. You can highlight players, skills, equipment. or technique. Be innovative on it.

Maybe you want to write a blog about football. You can focus on the NFL, your team, fantasy football, soccer or any other related topic. Or you can mix it all together. Also in this case create your vision.

The general point is to have in mind that you are targeting as a player. Think of it as a musical artist. With few exceptions, the artists put out a music CD based on a genre. Of course there is a variety, but in general there is a pop artist, or a rap artist, or a rock artist, or an artist jazz, and so on. In this way the manufacturer can track your music and try to make sure you stay within a genre. And like you and your sports blog, a musical artist will only deal with their music. Do not worry about the tens of thousands of other musical artists.

So the bottom line is, choose a niche, an agenda focused, and stick to it. Check the things you can control. Be yourself and try to keep it current and fresh. And never give up. Others will do, but you will not. And remember the content of the Internet is always the desire.

Your success will also depend on marketing. We will discuss in the future .......
