Internet Marketing Tips - Get Your Master in Marketing
I admit it ... I am a geek college. Well, at least I was about 30 years ago. And while I did not learn much in college that I use today as an Internet marketer, I have learned one thing in economy class that helped me out tremendously with the creation of product and market understanding of supply and demand. Now, if you think that does not really matter when you do the marketing, think again. Supply and demand is the whole ball game when it comes to whether the product is going to sell and, if so, for how much.
The basic law of supply and demand is simple. If supply is high and demand is low, then prices fall. If supply is low and demand is high, then prices go up. Those of you who have had economics 101 knows that. But exactly how does this apply to Internet marketing? I mean, if you're selling info products, which are not a good physique, there is no real lack of power? Well, there can be. How? Simple. Just tell your prospects that only a certain number will be sold and looking to head to the buy button if you think it's something that really help.
He sees all the time with the glossy pages of sale. Only 100 copies sold, or this offer is only good for the next seven days. They are common tactics. Of course, if you want to have any credibility, it is best to back up what you say. But that's another post for another day. The point is, surely economic principles come into play when you promote something online. So, the more you understand the economy, the better your chances of success.
But the economy is only the beginning. I also took marketing in college. Knowing the best ways to build an advertising campaign will greatly increase your sales conversion. I had a great professor of marketing. This guy could sell anything to anyone. Heck, he sold me to take the course, first when I went to talk with him before signing up.
Then, there is a point of all of the above and here it is. Obtaining a strong background in marketing and economics, as well as writing and a host of other things, will give you the best opportunity to succeed with your Internet marketing career. A master's degree, which is what I like to call it, is the ticket to success, because unlike many university ... knowing what they're doing when it comes to your business is priceless.
To Your Success,
Steven Wagenheim ...
