The loser, the workaholic, and Home Based Business Opportunity
This is a story that takes place is Anytown, USA.
You know the characters. Both are always daydreaming of a better life. A life free from work. A life free from debt. A life enjoyed with family.
Both go after their dreams, but in different ways.
Shortly after graduating college, the workaholic was offered her "dream job." From nine to five with holidays off and two weeks of vacation every year. The pay was not that much to begin with, but there are miles above him on the corporate ladder. All he had to do was climb and a better life waiting at every step.
The loser has a similar job in a different society. The hours were a little 'different, eight to four. In addition to this, you could not really tell the difference without reading the name of the company outside of the office.
Day after day, both climbed the ladder. Then, after a couple of years, they both realized that they were working 10 hours a day instead of 8.
The Workaholic pressed on. "If only draw a few more years, I'll be up with the life I want for my family," said the Workaholic.
The loser has taken another approach. He has stopped rising. Instead, he spent his evenings building a home based business.
Workaholic When he saw what he was doing Loser, despised him. "These things do not work! You're wasting your money! You'll never amount to anything!" Workaholic said.
The loser was actually hurt by these remarks, but he pressed on. You see, at this point, the workaholic was making more money than the loser, but the workaholic was also spending all his time to work.
Shortly after, the loser and his wife were in a school play. All parents were there. Well, almost everyone.
The loser is the Workaholic's wife and daughter. "Where is the Workaholic?" asked the Loser.
"Oh ... okay ... had to work, I have a tape for him. He said that he thinks will be able to see him next week," said the wife of a Workaholic. "As it is based on something that your home business going?"
"Oh, okay. Workaholic and I do about the same amount of money now."
"It 's nice, but it must be hard to lose that money every time you take a week off, right?"
"I do not lose it. I get paid, even if I do not work."
"Well, enjoy it while it lasts. My husband is working for a solid income and pension. Eventually, these things do not work home business, Loser."
The years passed and the differences grew larger.
The loser has retired young ... very young. In fact, his children were still in high school when he retired.
The loser also had more money coming to almost everyone in town. The loser was able to spend much time with his family as he wanted, and enjoy life to its terms.
The loser was the main contribution to charity rather than supported. The whole city, and knowledge was the most generous man may live in Anytown.
The Workaholic continued to rise. He lost his children grow. He was not there when they were school performance. He was not there when they had birthday parties. He almost lost their graduation.
Every step of the way it was promised a better life, so he continued to climb. Yet, every step made him a slave of his work.
Even when it was overloaded and spend more than 12 hours a day at the office, could not stop. If he did, he would be fired. Then what would he do?
Unfortunately, the pension that was promised never came. The economy took a down turn, or so he was told. The few years of financial security that he had sacrificed his life for over an illusion.
Would not matter much. The Workaholic had pushed himself so hard that he had little time left. When he realized his life was ending, all I could think about was how he never really knew his family. He lost all the important events in the lives of her children.
Looking out the window, saw what he thought was the loser in the park. He was old but still active. It 's been spending time with his grandchildren, just as he had spent time with their children.
The Workaholic has finally turned around and thought that maybe the loser was not really a loser, after all .......
